Who Are the inner west beekeepers?

We are a community of people passionate about urban beekeeping in Sydney's Inner West. We are a Sub-branch of the Amateur Beekeepers Association of New South Wales. We explore and engage in all forms and methods of beekeeping including Australian native bees and European honeybees. Our members are made up of people that utilise different hive systems and designs including Langstroth hives, Warre hives and Top Bar hives. We have people with different skill levels and specialities and encourage new people to get involved in our activities including workshops, discussions, apiary trips and skillshare events.

As a member you will have access to our library, beekeeping insurance, club equipment including extractors, apiary events, workshops, discounted beekeeping equipment and a group of friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable beekeepers of all stripes more than willing to share with you!

We also provide community education and free bee swarm collection in our local region.
